Nicole “Nikki” Clinch is a Badimia / Yamatji woman who was born and raised on Kaurna land. Nikki’s education background includes completing a Certificate IV in Indigenous Research Capacity Building and an Associate Degree in Indigenous Community Health. Nikki has spent many years of her career working in the public sector in health, Aboriginal affairs and human services to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in SA. Being able to work within and change the current systems that are not designed for Aboriginal people is something that drives Nikki. Her grandmother was a member of the Stolen Generation who went on to have a large family and graduated from university which is Nikki’s drive to continue her grandmother’s legacy in improving outcomes for future generations.
